What We Do
We Offer comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations to students and adults of all ages. Our services include the following types of evaluations:
- Learning disabilities including Dyslexia
- Dysgraphia
- Academic strengths and weaknesses
- Learning styles
- Specific testing to meet SAT/ACT requirements for accommodations including extended time
- Testing and documentation to meet University requirements for entrance into disability programs
- Gifted/Talented assessments
- Cross Battery assessments that meet TEA requirements for students with learning disabilities
- Professional counseling services that focus on adolescents and adults struggling with learning differences, ADHD, and coexisting issues such as anxiety and depression.
After The Evaluation
As part of our services, we offer consultation with the family to review the assessment results. We make several practical recommendations based on the results that will benefit the student and help them to be more successful in school. We offer meetings with school personal to assist in understanding the student’s needs and the implementation of our recommendations.
Cost
The cost for the evaluation, report, and consultations are all covered under one fee and currently vary based on age of student. The fee for elementary school aged students through college range from $750-$850. The fee for adults 25 and over range from $500-$650. Effective January 15, 2012, we will require a $100 deposit for all scheduled assessment appointments. We accept check, Visa, MC, and Discover. We are not in network with any insurance providers but can provide documentation for reimbursement through either a medical flex spending program or insurance. The insurance CPT code for our evaluation services is 96101.
